Hue is my birthplace but Saigon is where I grew up and attached to. Memories here is uncountable, especially those relating to Tet holidays. Throughout the years, I could sense plenty of changes, from the surroundings and from within.
Will these impressions become a long-lasting memory or a concern to our millennials?
The "SAIGON2000" series explores this question and meditates on the role of icons impact on our perception.

I was invited to be the main artist of a mural team for Phase 1 of To Dam’s project. Together, we gave five walls a new look, with the assistance of children from an elementary school. Most paintings reflect the daily lives of the local people as well as the local children’s desire of getting a higher education.
Work in progress: I developed the rough sketches and finished the rest of these illustrations digitally.
